The target audience for my film are teenage and young adult girls, so between the ages of 13-25. I have looked into the target audiences for similar films like The Fault in our Stars, who has a typical audience of 13-21 and who are also teenage girls. Because my film is similar to this, I have decided to recreate this audience with my film.
I have picked a stereotypical audience member, Georgina. I have described what Georgina likes including films and genres that she would enjoy. I think teenage girls would like my film as they can relate to it as it is about friendship. There are also many films like mine at cinemas that are targeted at a young adult audience. In addition, teenage girls like to go to the cinema with their friends and they have more disposable income than an older audience.
