Diary Post 2

Today in lesson time, we got into groups of 4 and we had the chance to try filming with cameras and tripods. Mr Oswick gave us a pretend storyline about a girl who was having a bad time at school and then met an imaginary friend. I was in a group with Elle, Holly and Katie and we went around school filming. Our first location was in a corridor where Elle was looking out of the window, wishing she had someone to talk too. We also filmed on the stairs and outside on a bench. We wanted to include a few different locations. 

We used a sheet with different camera shots on it to make sure we had a variety of different shots. We managed to include all of them as well as keeping to the storyline which was a great result. 

We may film some more for this task next lesson and we will be editing these clips together and adding music for this task. I really enjoyed filming today as I learned a lot of new things, like how to fit the camera onto the tripod and how to include a variety of different camera shots and angles to fit the plot/storyline.
